Every day is April 15.

To further enhance public awareness of national security and foster a strong societal atmosphere in which “April 15 is observed every day,” the official websites of the Offices of the Secretaries of the Macao Special Administrative Region and the departments under their respective portfolios will, effective April 15, 2026, uniformly introduce a new section titled “April 15 Every Day.”

 


This program will employ lively, engaging, and widely popular formats—such as thematic comics and short videos—to continuously promote knowledge about national security, thereby integrating the concept of national security into the daily lives of residents. Through this platform, government departments at all levels will timely release a wide range of information related to national security, covering key areas such as political security, economic security, cultural security, and social security. In doing so, the initiative aims to deepen public awareness and understanding of national security, heighten vigilance against national security risks, and strengthen the sense of responsibility and active participation of the entire population in safeguarding national security.

 


The Macao Special Administrative Region Government hopes that this initiative will institutionalize and sustain national security publicity and education, truly making “April 15 a daily reminder.” It aims to enhance public awareness of national security and encourage citizens to conscientiously fulfill their constitutional duties, thereby turning the safeguarding of national security into a collective endeavor across society and forging a robust defense for national security and Macao’s long-term prosperity and stability.
