“2022 Overseas Training on Traditional Chinese Medicine Products from Jiuzhitang (Brazil)” successfully held by GMTCM Park

At 8 a.m. Beijing time on December 1, 2022 (9 p.m. Brazil time on November 30), the “2022 Overseas Training on Traditional Chinese Medicine Products from Jiuzhitang (Brazil)” was held by the Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Industrial Park of Co-operation between Guangdong and Macao (hereinafter referred to as “GMTCM Park”) in conjunction with Jiuzhitang Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Jiuzhitang”) and Brazilian distributors. Around 100 participants attended the online training, including representatives of Brazilian government departments, TCM practitioners from public and private hospitals and clinics, pharmacists, and representatives of pharmacies.

2021 Traditional Chinese Medicine Business Matching Session (Achievement Sharing) Successfully Held

On June 29 of this year, the Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Industrial Park of Co-operation between Guangdong and Macao (hereinafter referred to as the "Industrial Park") held a special trade matching conference for Brazil. More than 70 representatives from government departments, entrepreneurs, and distributors from Macao, Hong Kong, mainland China, and Brazil participated both online and offline. After the conference, one company completed the registration and trade filing for seven products in Brazil, while two companies signed orders for a total of 11 traditional Chinese medicine products, and follow-up on cooperation intentions with several other companies was initiated.

Recently, the TCM atomized inhalation project, jointly submitted by the Increase (Hengqin) Medicine Research Institution Co., Ltd.in the Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Industrial Park of Co-operation between Guangdong and Macao (hereinafter referred to as “GMTCM Park”) and the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicines of Macau University of Science and Technology, won the funding provided by the Guangdong-Macao Science and Technology Cooperation Project of the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province and the project of the Science and Technology Development Fund.

On the occasion of the “2019 Traditional Medicine International Development Forum (Euro-Africa)”, a Business Matching session was held in Lisbon, Portugal in that afternoon. Present at the event were representatives from government departments, experts in traditional medicine, representatives from business and trade sectors, and distributors, totalling 120 participants, coming from Macao, Mainland China, the European Union, and African countries. ‘AMIGO – Exchange Segment among International Youth TCM Practitioners’ to Advance the Joint Development of TCM Talents Worldwide

The ‘AMIGO – Interactive Segment among International Youth TCM Practitioners’ was held in Lisbon, Portugal on May 15 during the ‘2019 Traditional Medicine International Development Forum’ (‘2019 TMIF Euro-Africa’). About 100 young TCM practitioners, as well as representatives from government departments, industry experts and representatives from universities, were brought together from countries and regions such as Macao, Mainland China, Portugal, the Netherlands, Germany, Mozambique, and Cape Verde to share ideas on the application of TCM in China and Portuguese-speaking countries and regions and to interact with international experts, thus advancing the international development of talents and the Traditional Medicine industry in a deeper and broader scope.
