On 16 October 2015, GMTCM Park signed the Cooperation Framework Agreement with the University of Macau on the four themes of quality assessment, pilot production, R&D service and technical training to jointly promote the international development of TCM, and to provide complementary advantages industrially and academically between Guangdong-Macao’s TCM industry and China’s “Belt and Road Initiative”.
In September 2016, GMTCM Park and the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine signed the Cooperation Framework Agreement on the cooperation of international training in TCM, establishment of the International Medical Health Centre (temporary name), and preparation of the TCM Overseas Center. At the same time, the two parties also established cooperative relationship in the technical cooperation and TCM clinical research of the Ruilian (Hengqin) Wellness Resort.
In September 2017, GMTCM Park and the European Foundation of Traditional Chinese Medicine signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. Both parties will use their respective platforms, channels and resources to share information and support. Both parties will also cooperate in international registration, international legalization, quality testing, TCM talent training and healthcare products.
In 2017, GMTCM Park signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, reaching a consensus on cooperation in TCM training & education, cultural inheritance, TCM promotion, health management, TCM research and development, authentication and registration, and academic exchange events. Both parties will further undertake three other projects namely, the "China-ASEAN Education and Training Centre" of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Education, the "International Science and Technology Cooperation Base of Traditional Chinese Medicine" of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the "International Technology Cooperation Base of Traditional Chinese Medicine" of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, to initiate international education and training work in TCM.
In 2018, GMTCM Park and the Polytechnic Institute of Setubal signed an MOU aiming to promote and strengthen the academic cooperation between the two sides, and carry out the projects covering traditional medicine education, training and language teaching.
On May 31, 2019, the Industrial Park and Guangdong University of Technology carried out cooperation in traditional Chinese medicine scientific and technological innovation, achievement transformation, talent training, academic exchanges and other aspects, and signed the Strategic Cooperation Agreement to jointly build an innovation platform, strengthen scientific and technological innovation cooperation, and jointly promote the transfer and transformation of achievements.
In May 2019, both parties signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement to initiate scientific and technological innovation of TCM, transformation of achievements, talent training, and cooperation in the health industry, and jointly promote the integration of industry-academia-research and development of the Fujian-Macao TCM industry.
In May 2019, both parties signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement to initiate scientific and technological innovation of TCM, transformation of achievements, talent training and technical exchange, and jointly build an innovation platform, strengthen scientific and technological innovation cooperation, and promote the transfer and transformation of achievements.
In June 2019, both parties signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement to jointly build an innovation platform, improve the scientific research service system in GMTCM Park, provide technical and R&D services for park enterprises, and promote the transfer and transformation of project achievements in the direction of medicine, health food, cosmetics and more.
In September 2017, GMTCM Park and the Faculty of Pharmacy of University of Lisbon signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to use their respective platforms and resources to share information on policies, scientific research, talents and partners. Both parties will participate in the exchange and cooperation of traditional medicine and complementary medicine, explore the establishment of overseas traditional herbal education or training programs, and promote the transformation of products for the research and development of botanical and health products.
In July 2016, GMTCM Park signed an MOU with the Brazil Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine to jointly build an international platform, expand the international network of TCM in Portuguese-speaking countries, share the policies and regulations of local traditional medicine, and assist to establish the cooperation of traditional medicine-related institutions between the two sides.
