International Training

Mozambique:
Since 2016, GMTCM Park and the Ministry of Health of Mozambique have jointly held nine courses on special TCM therapies, offering training to a total of 241 doctors and therapists from public hospitals under the Ministry of Health and introducing TCM techniques into the public health system of Mozambique including 50 public hospitals across 11 provinces in the country. TCM therapies were applied on 16,811 local patients over the past three years, and warmly welcomed by the patients. By “promoting medicine through practice”, GMTCM Park has played a significant role in introducing quality TCM products and techniques of Chinese enterprises into Portuguese-speaking countries, including those from Macao, and laid a solid foundation for the import and export of their products and techniques.

This represents an extension of the model of cooperation between GMTCM Park and Mozambique to Cape Verde, yet another attempt to apply and promote the model of “promoting medicine through practice” in the country, and also another breakthrough in the transmission of TCM culture and techniques to Portuguese-speaking countries in Africa.
