With a sound hardware carrier and a good talent team, the scientific research service platform has set up three functional sections: the scientific research service system, the public laboratory, and the Transformation Base for TCM Scientific and Technological Achievements, which can provide enterprises with complete R&D of TCM-related products and related technical services. In addition, the Liaison Office of the former Guangdong Food and Drug Administration, Research Centre of Traditional Chinese Medicine Technology and Policies and other government resources have been introduced to establish a rapid communication channel between government and enterprises, in a bid to supply enterprises with policy consultation and technical guidance in the process of registration, application and evaluation. A Postdoctoral Research Center has also been established to train high-level medical talents.
